In this evening presentation speakers Cúán Ó hÓgáin and Seamus Crickley will examine waste water treatment in Ireland. Drawing on their vast experience they will discuss waste water's history, best practice, emerging technology and sustainable energy

About the speakers

Cúán Ó hÓgáin, Director, Streamflow Engineering Ltd.
Cúán is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years design and project management experience in water, wastewater, food and pharmaceutical sector i n Ireland and abroad both as Contractor and Consultant. He is the Employer's Representative to Local Authorities and Industry from preliminary report stage, preparation of tender documents, supervision of construction and contract administration. Consultancy work involving existing asset surveys, leak detection and water reduction studies. Cúán is also a Specialist advisory engineer in the preparation of the EU Water Framework Directive River Basin Management Plan for area covering the counties of Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Galway and Clare under the aegis of Galway County Council. 

Seamus Crickley, Chartered Engineer
Seamus is a Water and Wastewater Treatment process specialist with over 40 years experience with unrivalled in-depth process knowledge and application in Industrial Wastewater Treatment across all sectors. He has been involved as process specialist in over 150 + projects in Ireland, the UK, and Internationally specialises in the application of the latest process technologies for nutrient removal and recovery, energy efficiency, and waste to energy projects. International Business Development expertise across all sectors and markets.
