Learning objectives
The primary objective of the course is to familiarize students with the concepts and application of the essential functions of AutoCAD Civil 3D. After completing this course, students should be able to navigate the Civil 3D user interface, Import and manage survey data, create, edit, analyse and view surfaces, create and edit alignments, profiles, and sections, create assemblies and corridors, calculate corridor volumes, import survey data and create survey drawings, use Civil 3D Grading too.
Who should attend
Civil Engineers, technicians or draughting personnel working with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and involved with road design and/or site development design. Students should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 or later and have a good understanding of Civil engineering and surveying principles for road and site design.
Course material
This course is taught in conjunction with practical courseware exercises and supporting reference manual. Each trainee will receive a 12 month subscription to Global eTraining’s Civil 3D 2016 online courseware.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Confirmation is subject to event fee being finalised. Cancellation fees calculated at 50% of the estimated total bill will be charge for confirmed bookings cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the date of the planned event. A replacement person can attend instead. Cancellations made the day prior to an event will be charged 75% of the total estimated bill. No-shows will be charged the full fee. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by email. Engineers Ireland will not be liable for any costs in the event of a course being re-scheduled. This applies, but is not limited, to any travelling, subsistence or consequential expenses incurred by delegates.
