Overview

This course will provide an overview of the legislative position on CE Marking of Machinery/Safety Components, including the Low Voltage and EMC Directives. It will also cover the technical and procedural aspects involved in Machinery Directive assessments, including testing requirements.

Course Aim

To equip delegates with the knowledge of CE Marking for Machines and the relevant EU Directives.

Trainer’s Profile

David McClean, MIEI, Engineering Consultant of Compliance Engineering Ireland Ltd, will present this course. David has ten years experience in the compliance engineering field. He has also ten years industrial experience in design and development for compliance. David is one of the most experienced Machinery Directive consultants in Ireland. He has carried out risk assessments on hundreds of machines including EMC and Electrical Safety.
