Programme Outline

The workshop provides an introduction to consulting skills, describing each stage of the consulting process and what must be attended to at each.
The strength of our approach is in its attention to specific consulting behaviour, behaviour that will help you in your consulting activities and that will optimise your potential usefulness to the client.
We address the challenge of having impact without control and how to deal with the resistance you will inevitably encounter.

Who Should Attend?

Any engineer who does consulting work, even if you don’t call yourself a consultant; anyone working in an engineering ‘staff role’ within an organisation is an internal consultant. This workshop is geared towards engineers who have professional expertise, limited direct authority and have the desire to have impact in their organisations or for their clients.

Why Should I Attend?

As a result of attending this workshop you will begin the process of acquiring the skills to achieve results, without having the power to make changes or implement projects.
