CPD Seminar: Road Maintenance - Best Practice in Ireland and Abroad
Engineers Ireland’s Roads and Transportation Society Annual CPD Seminar sponsored by 3M and Road Maintenance Services Ltd.
Seminar Overview
Ireland has invested significantly in its transport infrastructure over the past ten years and in particular in our roads with a world-class inter-urban motorway network. However, we will only benefit from a real return on this investment if we maintain our roads, be they motorways or smaller, national roads. How we manage national, regional and local road maintenance, maintain pavements, utilities, drainage as well as larger structures and adopt international best practice will all affect the financial return on investment and the performance of our roads in terms of safety and driver experience.
Seminar Aim
The seminar will bring together leading Irish and International speakers to provide insight into the areas of policy, funding, planning and implementation of road maintenance in Ireland, as well as looking at international best practice and case studies.
