Patterson Pump Ireland is a fast paced growing Manufacturing Company which is located at our new green field based Midlands site.

An opening has arisen within the Engineering Department at Patterson Pump Ireland. Our Product is unique for every job and it is our Engineering Department that designs our pumps, baseplates, controllers and other critical equipment. Patterson Ireland works towards tight production deadlines. Shipping a quality product on time at the most competitive price is the cornerstone of our Company.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

• Development of Bills of Material for individual jobs.
• Prepare production paperwork for new jobs and issue to the production floor.
• Use of AutoCAD LT and Solid Edge to create general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings and any other miscellaneous drawings.
• Provide Support to Production, Sales, Purchasing and other Departments.
• Test and analyse data from centrifugal pump tests: Hydrostatic, Performance, NPSH, Vibration and Sound.
• Support will be required in regards to Quality Control and other engineering functions.
• Willing to work overtime if necessary to maintain our production schedule and solve critical issues our customers may have.

Job Environment:

The Engineer will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. This is an opportunity to establish a career in mechanical and manufacturing engineering within a rapidly expanding company.

Education & Experience:

• Honours Bachelor’s Degree Level 8 in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• One to two years’ experience in engineering is preferable.
• Adequate knowledge of the operation of pumps, diesel engines and electric motors.

• Excellent computer literacy skills. Our ERP System will be used on a daily basis.
• Work well under pressure and deal effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Able to multi-task between several priorities simultaneously.
• Good Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with all departments at Patterson Pump Ireland.
