The Innovative Student Engineer of the Year Award sponsored by Siemens, showcases innovation excellence amongst engineering third-level students across Ireland.

It is open to all third-level students in Ireland.

Do you have an innovative engineering idea that you want to take to the next level?  Are you interested in showcasing that idea to professional engineers, industry leaders and entrepreneurs?  Would you like the opportunity to share in a prize of €2,000?

To enter, please submit a 500-word project summary to Kevin Redmond at Engineers Ireland (kredmond@engineersireland.ie) before 28 September. Our judges will assess all valid entries received and announce the shortlist.

Shortlisted candidates must then submit a 2,000-word report and present their projects to a panel of industry experts at Dublin City University’s Innovation Hub.

The winner, or if a team, the winners, will be announced and will receive their prize at the Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards on Friday 9 November at our black tie event in Dublin’s InterContinental Hotel.
