DIY SOS: The Big Build calling for volunteer engineers

The hugely successful BBC Series, ‘DIY SOS: The Big Build’, is coming to Ireland and producers are now looking for Irish structural engineers to get involved.

This is the first time the format is moving outside the UK. Irish Producers, Motive Television, are making the Series for RTÉ One and are now looking for Engineers Ireland members who are willing to spare a few days of their time and share their skills to help a family in need.

Ideally, engineers would have a close working relationship with an architectural practice and who might be happy to partner up and volunteer some time for the design stage of one build.

There are four episodes being made, with builds currently planned from late summer/early Autumn through to Spring 2020.

If you are interested in finding out more or volunteering contact Series Producer, Sharon Newman, at sharon@motive.ie or call 01 5313306.
