Training aim
The outcome The Cordatus interactive workshop will be the establishment of an FMEA profile of a demo process (video & paper instructions) which will be risk assessed by attendees.
Learning objectives
At the end of the workshop candidates will
• understand FMEA and its significance in product and process design
• understand when to use FMEA
• understand the cross functional nature of the exercise
• be enabled to draft a FMEA table, and
• be enabled to draft an action plan following the completion of the FMEA table.

Structure: One day interactive workshop
Timing: 08:30 - 16:30, Maximum workshop size: 12 people
Agenda: Introduction to FMEA, video of process, failure mode identification and RPN calculation, RPN prioritisation and selection, action plan, responsibilities & timelines, resourcing improvement projects, communication & progress tracking, challenges in running FMEA exercises, FMEA policy within the organisation

Assessment occurs in workshop when the FMEA teams successfully complete the FMEA exercise assigned by the course facilitator.
